I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Yoga Teacher. I specialize in helping people connect with themselves.

My intention is to support you in accessing your inner calm, expressing yourself authentically, and making choices in alignment with your truth to create peace of mind.

My approach to therapy is holistic and evidence-based. I teach skills that are helpful for riding the waves of emotion or challenging life circumstances. I also use mindfulness to explore the feelings and thoughts you’d like to shift.

I view the client-therapist relationship as collaborative. My job is to support you in being present with yourself by offering healing tools and guidance. Your job as the client is to be open to yourself and to use the tools we practice outside of session to create change.

I can help you with:

  • Depression/hopelessness

  • Anxiety/worry/stress

  • Spiritual/existential crises

  • Assertiveness/communication

  • Being a Highly Sensitive Person (HSP)/Empath

  • Identifying meaning and purpose

  • Relationship patterns

Sessions with me value:

HUMOR, HONESTY, HUMANNESS, and HOPE

I enjoy helping people who are struggling with being their true, authentic selves. This could show up as clinical depression or anxiety. It could also show up as a general sense of feeling unsatisfied, “blah”, or unsettled. Clients I work well with often identify as an empath or peacekeeper. They have an honorable capacity for deep thinking and generosity towards others.

On the flip side, these strengths can leave people feeling different and drained.

We would work well together if you are interested in building a relationship with yourself. We can create a safe space to turn that empathy inward, to first get a lay of the land. What feelings lie unexpressed within? What boundaries remain unspoken for?

Then, with compassion for all parts of you, we can help your nervous system learn how to:

  1. Ground and feel safe

  2. Feel and release emotions

  3. Use the mind to reassure yourself as you make brave, new choices

my story

I know about the uncertainty and hopelessness that comes with being disconnected to your center. I understand the isolation and scrambling for comfort that comes with this dissatisfaction—substances, endless Netflix series, connection in unsatisfying relationships—doing whatever possible to distract from the emptiness in my heart for fear that I could never fill it.

I also know about healing. I have walked the surprising and long-awaited path back to my true self—a path that is both miraculous and challenging. A path that never ends. I have been supported by guides along the way who have walked this path, too. I have had the privilege of waking up in the morning shocked to find that I feel happiness—curious as to how it snuck in so quietly.

Most importantly, I have learned, and continue to learn every day, how to bravely face the nagging in my heart and align with my most authentic self, resulting in a feeling of contentment that no external source has had the capacity to offer.

I share this with the intention of giving you permission. To be vulnerable. To be human. To get your hands dirty. All in the pursuit of the wholeness you deserve.
